Hey guys! Yuhoo! Haha I just wanna say thank you so so much for coming to the band farewell party cum sec 1 orientation. It was fun! Haha....Thank you so much seniors for sacrificing your time just for this special event. Haha....Love you guys la sey! Haha...btw...the game was an OK right???? I mean some groups got wrong clues for the amazing race game but they still completed the challenge. That's what make the team bond even longer cause they work together to win! Yeah...good job guys!

HELLO my fellow band mates!! Wah.. My very 1st time posting sumthing here lar sey. So excited. LOLs. This is Iman Maliki btw. So niwaes i tot i wanna share these music vids with ya guys for u guys to enjoy. The songs r all from the Happy Feet Soundtrack Highlights by the original singers. In case u dun noe Happy Feet is a cartoon (musical) movie bout a penguin who is born with tap dancing talent instead of singing (lyk the others). My fav, Somebody to Love! Wad's urs?
Band farewell to seniors cum welcoming of new recruits get-together is on the 26 jan this sat! report at 10am! For those who are incharge of games, report at 7am!
There will also be a additional band practice on the 26 jan and 2 feb. time is at 1pm to 3pm... remeber to bring your consent form...!! attendance is COMPULSORY!!!
clothes to wear this sat will be ur band shirt + an xtra school based shirt I dunnoe for what...u are allowed to wear any bottom!

Hey HKMB!!
Just wanna say that IMAN from clarinet section, has been transferred to the bass clarinet. We are not sure whether its temporary or forever, but we wished him good luck in the upcoming performance in playing the bass clarinet. If you were to play the bass clarinet forever, than HKMB, YOU ALL MUST WISH HIM GOOD LUCK OK! Btw, QM please take note that Iman's bass clarinet spoil! Thanks you! Ok than, anything just beep me ok!

Hey! Welcome to the official blog of HONG KAH MILITARY BAND!
Hong Kah Military Band aka HKMB, was set up in 1994. We took part in our first Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging of Concert Bands in 1997 and we achieved a bronze medal. Currently, HKMB has a strength of about 40 crazy and energetic member who all have the passion
of learning as well as enjoying music. In 2005, under the baton of Mr Hoe Kong Foo, our band participated in the SYF Central Judging of Concert Bands which was held at the Singapore Conference Hall, we managed to achieve a silver award. Our band participated again in the SYF in 2007 under the baton
of Mr Hoe Kong Foo and despite of all our hardworks, we achieved a bronze award. HKMB had also participated in various performances such as Ngee Ann City performance, Speech Day, Balloon Hat Festival, National Day as well as CCA Open House. Currently, 2008 has made a big impact on our lives as Mr Philip took over the baton from Mr Hoe. We will continue to strive for our very best and shine under the baton of Mr Philip.
Our Aim
The Band aims to provide pupils opportunities to explore their musical talents through practical sessions and music theories. It is an avenue for young musicians to share ideas and experiences and to work on their musicianship and to build team work in fun and nurturing environment.
